Novarra Advances BREW® Browsing Solution For Next-Gen Mobile Search and Portals

CHICAGO, IL - June 2, 2005 - Novarra today announced version 3.0 of the nWeb™ Browser developed for QUALCOMM’s BREW solution and the availability of nWeb Portal version 2.0 for advanced Web/WAP content delivery and management across high-tier and mass-market handsets. nWeb Portal enables BREW operators to create, manage and monetize next-generation Web or WAP portals and mobile search. Through integration with BREW and other operator infrastructure, portals are enriched with location and advertising for Web/WAP content which further enhances the BREW browsing experience. Novarra will be demonstrating its BREW data solutions at Booth #76 at the BREW 2005 Conference, being held June 1-3 in San Diego.

With nWeb Portal, BREW operators can simplify and accelerate next-generation Web/WAP portals and full mobile search with advanced personalization, configurable intelligent advertising, and cross-sales of downloadable content, to create new revenue- generating wireless Web services. Visually rich, context-driven, and easily navigable mobile content with minimal clicks, is automatically created and delivered to both new and already deployed WAP 2.0 enabled handsets that have browsers from select third-parties, as well as Novarra’s nWeb Browser for BREW. Automatic Content Adaptation™ enables the portal to be customized in real-time with richness and features for the full range of high-tier to mass-market BREW handsets. SmartSearch™ and SmartNav™ enable advanced portal and Web navigation based upon personalization, user behavior, and content.
